The work shall include removal and replacement of existing hardscape within the existing park to improve accessible path of travel to the current soccer field, restroom, and accessible parking. Work to also include minor improvements within the existing restroom.

The project involves grinding and overlaying existing parks sports courts such as tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. Some courts require more extensive repair for a full depth restoration with re-compaction of existing subgrade, aggregate base, and asphalt concrete pavement. Court surfacing material will be added on top of the asphalt concrete for tennis, and pickleball courts, and striping of the parks sports courts will be required in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications.

The work shall include furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project work indicated in the project plans and Attachments A and B to replace the poured-in-place surface at the Davis Central Park playground per City of Davis Standards and Specifications and the Geotechnical Engineer’s recommendations.

The work shall include installing new 8” sewer pipe, abandoning in place existing 8” sewer pipe, installing new maintenance holes, abandoning maintenance hole, extending sewer laterals, re-connecting sewer laterals, CIPP lining of sewer laterals and installing “top hat” connection seal, and rehabilitation of storm drain maintenance hole in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications.

The work shall include installing or replacing saddles and portions of service lines on designated water mains, reconnection of water services, and pavement restoration in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications. All work shall be performed in accordance with the City of Davis Standard Specifications January 1996 Edition, Addenda through July 2017, General Prevailing Wage Rate, Labor Surcharge and Equipment Rental Rates, and the Contract documents.

The work shall include concrete sidewalk, curb, curb ramp replacement, and asphalt concrete patching in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications.

Community Park Shade Structure Rehabilitation CIP No. ET8339 PROJECT PACKAGE: In general the work included in the Project includes mobilization, removal of asbestos material, removal of timber with lead-containing paint, replacement of timber beams, trellis construction, painting, and installation of replacement electrical system. The work will be done to City of Davis standards as shown on the project plans.

The work shall include demolition of concrete, grading and clearing of site for new concrete patio and installation of steel frame shade structures, seating walls, landscaping and irrigation. Lighting and electric heaters will be installed under the shade structure. Building work includes demolition of windows and wall for new storefront and access compliance improvements to two sets of restrooms including new low flow plumbing fixtures.

The work for this project includes removal of existing clay tiles and storage on-site of the remaining roof; replacement of the PVC underlayment with new material; replacement of the sky lights; reinstallation of the clay tiles; and replacement of any damaged tiles.

The work shall include permanent repair of the Mace I-80 Overpass fence in accordance with the intent of the Project Plans and Specifications and the requirements of the Caltrans-issued encroachment permit. Contractor shall be responsible for complying with all encroachment permit requirements – see Attachment A (City will supply the third-party inspector). All work shall be performed in accordance with the City of Davis Standard Specifications January 1996 Edition, Addenda through September 2021, General Prevailing Wage Rate, Labor Surcharge and Equipment Rental Rates, and the Contact Documents.
